Knowing how employees, managers and customers perceive your employer brand, and what associations they make, gives you important insights that can be used for both marketing purposes and as a basis to move the organisation towards where you want it to go.

Asking your employees if they would recommend you as an employer, and justifying why or why not, provides you with interesting information about how your employees view working for you, and what you would need to do to strengthen your employer brand and create more ambassadors among the employees.

The question that is asked is called employee Net Promoter Score, eNPS. The answers to the question give an indication of the employees’ overall rating of all the individual factors that constitute the employee experience – sufficiently narrowed to measure frequently.
